Three Smoothies to Blend on Repeat

Smoothies are one of our favorite ways to pack plenty of nourishing ingredients into one delicious glass. They are quick, easy, and endlessly adaptable, making them perfect for busy mornings, post-workout fuel, or an afternoon pick-me-up.

These are three of our go-to combinations. Each one is creamy, naturally sweet, and filled with plant-based goodness.

 Go-To Smoothie

This is a great morning smoothie, packed with plenty of good stuff to get your day off to a nourishing start. Banana, nut butter, and oats make it thick and creamy, while spinach adds a little greenery first thing and helps you sneak another vegetable into your day.

Ingredients

  • 2 loosely packed cups spinach
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or oat milk (more if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter

Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add a little more almond milk or a handful of ice as needed.

Revitalizing Raspberry Smoothie

Easy, nutrient-dense, and absolutely delicious, this smoothie is perfect for a post-workout pick-me-up or a simple breakfast. It is filled with plant protein, healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

If you are new to using hemp seeds, smoothies are a great place to start. Hemp seeds add a mild, nutty flavor along with plant-based protein and omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, preferably frozen
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons shelled hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 Brazil nut
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk (more if needed)

Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.

Energizing Matcha Smoothie

This nutritious smoothie features matcha, a powder made from finely ground green tea leaves. Matcha contains caffeine as well as protective plant compounds called polyphenols. Paired with banana, spinach, nut butter, and seeds, it makes a delicious alternative to your usual morning coffee and a satisfying way to fuel your day.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 frozen ripe banana
  • 2 loosely packed cups spinach
  • 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds or shelled hemp seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or oat milk (more if needed)

Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk or ice as needed. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Make Them Your Own

The beauty of a smoothie is that it is hard to go wrong. Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder for extra protein, a handful of ice for a frostier texture, or more plant-based milk if you prefer a thinner smoothie.

Blend, sip, and have a delicious day!
