  • Cathedral Lake Trail
    Location: Ashcroft, near Aspen, CO
    Directions: From Aspen, take Castle Creek Road for about 12 miles. Turn left onto a dirt road and follow the signs for the Cathedral Lake trailhead. This moderate to challenging trail leads to a stunning alpine lake, surrounded by dramatic peaks.

  • Apex Trail
    Location: Golden, CO
    Directions: From downtown Golden, head south on US-6 and take the exit for Heritage Road. Follow this road for about a mile, and you’ll see the parking lot for the Apex Trail on your left. This trail offers breathtaking views of the foothills and is a great way to experience Golden’s fall colors.
